"Mike is a cheerful, competent and caring attorney.  You can count on him to make a real estate closing a pleasant experience.  He also prepared our Wills and assorted documents.  I would recommend him to anyone needing the services of a good attorney."  Pat Small, Realtor, Robertson Realty

"Mike Wells is an accomplished attorney and community leader.  His firm, Wells Jenkins, is an excellent practice.  My wife and I have worked with firm members on various real estate closings and found them to be excellent.  Mike led the successful community-wide United way Campaign, during which I co-chaired the Wake Forest University portion.  He was inspirational, positive, and outstanding in every way.  The campaign was highly successful because of his ability to bring the best out of each person and make an excellent case for aiding the less fortunate among us.  He focused on communicating and addressing the root causes for our community's issues; one of which was that a lower than acceptable graduation rate leads to lower wages and poverty.  He is an outstanding citizen who contributes his talent to numerous organizations, including the Wake Forest Law School.  He aids the public in understanding everyday legal issues by writing columns, hosting radio shows, and speaking publicly.  He is a clear and understandable writer on complex topics such as bankruptcy, estate issues and the like.  Our community is a much better place because of Mike Wells' positive and compelling leadership."  Jay Banks, former general manager, Wake Forest University / WFDD

"Mike had been a wonderful attorney to recommend to all of my clients.  From first time home buyers to the most sophisticated buyer, Mike treats all of my clients with respect and professionalism.  In my 18 years as a realtor I have always had excellent service from Mike and his staff.  On a personal note, Mike is a wonderful community leader.  He dedicates much of his personal time to giving back to the community."  Brooke Burr

"I have known Mike for 15 years.  He is a great leader in the Winston-Salem community and very generous with his time and money.  He has led many initiatives to benefit public education - most notably he recruited over 800 volunteers for our Corporate Volunteer Program several years ago.  He has set the bar high as the chairman of our United Way Campaign.  He has written a number of short vignettes about the value of hard work and lessons he has learned "on his way to the court house".  We have videotaped him telling some of these stories so that students can learn from them.  Mike serves on the Board of the Community Education Collaborative that is currently focusing on improving the drop out rate in the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County schools.  Each year he mentors a high school student and has helped each of them navigate challenges and graduate from high school.  Mike is one of the true servant leaders I know."  Don Martin, superintendent, Winston-Salem / Forsyth County schools

"Mike is a fantastic Chamber of Commerce leader and supporter, having served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.  He continues to play a key leadership role with the Chamber, particularly in recruiting adult mentors for our Chamber K-12 programs.  He is a charismatic and dedicated leader who truly believes in serving the community."  Gayle Anderson, President & CEO, Greater Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce
